Illinois Railway Museum

The Illinois Railway Museum has the largest collection of railroad rolling stock, equipment, and artifacts in the United States. This all-volunteer nonprofit organization was founded in 1953 and is operated by its members. Volunteers work on restoration projects, railroad operations, and all business functions. The museum is funded by donations admission fees, and concession sales.
