Richard I. Bong WWII Heritage Center
The museum is a 14,000 square foot facility that
houses about 25 exhibits. Inside sits a
restored 1945 vintage P-38 Lightning, similar to the one
Major Bong flew. The P-38 was a favorite among Allied
fighter pilots in the Pacific Theater.
