Great Northern Coach-Diner #1146
By 1962, passenger traffic had declined, and the Great Northern moved the coach diners to St. Paul for use on the "Red River" and "Dakotan" trains. The car was used by Amtrack in the 1970s.

Great Northern
Coach-Diner

This car was built by ACF in 1950. It had 28 coach seats at one end, a kitchen in the middle, and a dining area with tables and seating for 24 at the other end. It was part of two complete sets of cars ordered by the Great Northern for use on the Seattle to Vancouver "Puget Sounder."
