Glacier National Park, in north-western Montana, borders Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta, Canada. The two parks are known as the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park and were designated as the world's first International Peace Park in 1932.

This is the east entrance to Glacier National Park. The park contains one of the largest and most intact ecosystems in North America. It contains pristine forests, alpine meadows, rugged mountains, and spectacular lakes.
