We had come to this location expecting to see herds of elk and bighorn sheep grazing in this alpine habitat, but the snow cover obviously kept that from happening.
Logan Pass
The three mile round-trip Hidden Lake trail begins just behind the Logan Pass visitor center. As you can see, much of the hike is still snow-covered in early July.
