No. 188 worked for years at various industries before joining the steelmaking workforce of Ellwood Group Incorporated and assigned to Ellwood National Forge of Irwin, PA. Ellwood National Forge/Ellwood Group Inc. donated No. 188 to the Lake Shore Railway Historical Society in 2008.
