This is a 1991 replica of the de Havilland Comet, "Grosvenor House". The DH.88 was designed specifically for the 1934 MacRobertson England-Australia Air Race, which it won. This replica, which was built for the movie "The Great Air Race", has deteriorated significantly. It is stored at Old Warden airfield.
