At least 2,100 PV-1 Venturas and PV-2 Harpoons were delivered before the
end of the war, and the total number of deliveries to all customers exceeded
3,000.
Lockheed PV-1 Ventura
Lockheed Vega produced the Ventura. The Ventura had a high wing loading and had a marginal takeoff performance; but it was fairly fast, especially at low level, and a fine aircraft to fly on instruments, in bad weather. The Ventura handled well with one engine out.
