Ford 5-AT Tri-Motor

Kal-Aero of Kalamazoo, Michigan, rebuilt this Tri-Motor, and it flew again on July 15, 1991. It was donated to the Kalamazoo Air Zoo, which just completed a complete overhaul of the aircraft.

Tri-Motor

After service with National Air Transport, Ford modified this aircraft and it was sold to Northwest Airways, which later became Northwest Airlines. Later, it was based in Fairbanks, Alaska, where it carried freight for what became Wien Alaskan Airlines (later to become Alaska Airlines).
