Curtiss JN-4D Jenny
The Curtiss Jenny was America's most famous World War I airplane, but its poor performance made it unsuited for field operations. After WWI, hundreds were sold on the civilian market, and it soon became the mainstay of the Barnstormers of the 1920s.
