Titan 4B Space Launch Vehicle

The 16-story Titan 4 was capable of placing 47,800 pounds into low-Earth orbit or more than 12,700 pounds into geosynchronous orbit - 22,300 miles above the Earth's equator.

This missile is now on display in the Research & Development Gallery.

The final Titan rocket launch carried a payload for the National Reconnaissance Office from Vandenberg Air Force Base on October 19, 2005.

This is the upper section of one of the solid rocket boosters
