The nose of the RC-2 housed a strategic reconnaissance system which allows the plane to photograph enemy territory without leaving Israeli airspace.

IAI Kfir RC-2

Two Kfir C2s were modified for aerial photography with the addition of a photographic camera in the nose. The forward tip of the nose, which holds the camera's lens, can be rotated during flight for diagonal photography.
