Convair XB-36
Magnesium Wheel
This wheel was used on the original main landing gear design for XB-36. Its landing gear had a single large wheel and tire. This design was modified in the late 1940s, and replaced with a new arrangement that had a two wheel nose gear and four caterpillar-type main wheels.
