Due to financial problems, the Yankee Air Museum sold Yankee Lady (44-85829) in 2024 to a new owner who has the resources to ensure her preservation and flyability.

This B-17G-110-VE was owned and operated by the Yankee Air Museum at Willow Run Airport, Belleville, Michigan. It was built by Lockheed Vega at Burbank, California in late 1945. During this airshow, they were giving people the opportunity to fly in the Fortress.
