Douglas C-47

This C-47, Yankee Doodle Dandy, was the first flyable aircraft restored by the Yankee Air Force. The YAF bought the aircraft in September 1982, and after restoration, she was awarded 'Best of Transport' category at Oshkosh in 1985. Its home is the Yankee Air Museum located at the Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
