Halifax NA337

Note the coiled rope at the bottom of the picture. It was used to tow gliders. The first reference to NA337, in the 644 Squadron Operations Logs, is on 24 March 1945, when she towed a Hamilcar glider on the last great Airborne operation of WWII - Operation Varsity, the airborne assault across the Rhine River.
