Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress Nine o' Nine

The Collings Foundation B-17G was named Nine-O-Nine in honor of the 91st Bomb Group, 323rd Squadron aircraft that completed 140 missions without an abort or loss of a crewman.

Nine o' Nine of the Collings Foundation

Sadly, this aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff on 2 October 2019, at Bradley International Airport, just outside of Hartford, Connecticut. The pilots tried to return to the airport when it crashed at 9:54 a.m., killing seven of the 13 people on board.
