Kettenkraftrad SdKfz. 2

The Kettenkrad was originally designed as a lightweight artillery tractor for German airborne and paratroop forces, but it was also used to lay communication cable and tow the new jet aircraft on and off runways to conserve jet fuel.

The kleines Kettenkraftrad SdKfz. 2 was developed by the NSU Werke of Neckarsulm, Germany and entered troop service in early June 1941.
