Douglas AD-5W Skyraider

The Skyraider was designed to replace the Douglas SBD dive-bomber. Its maiden flight on 18 March 1945. Too late for World War II, the Skyraider saw service in Korea and Vietnam.

Douglas AD-5W Skyraider

This Skyraider is owned by Eric and Tina Downing, founders of the Midwest Wild Relics Refuge. The AD-5W was an airborne early warning version of the Skyraider.
