North American P-51D Mustang

The original Gentleman Jim was flown by Captain Jim Browning of the 363rd Fighter Squadron, 357th Fighter Group. He was credited with shooting down 7 German aircraft. Unfortunately, he was killed on 9 February 1945 in a mid air collision with an Me 262.

Gentleman Jim (44-74230) is owned by Jack Roush of Livonia, MI. It was restored in 2003 and carried Chuck Yeager's Glamorous Glen III colors until 2005.
