DeHavilland
CC-115 Buffalo

The Canadian Forces remaining six Buffalo aircraft are all used by 442 Squadron due its unique handling characteristics that make it better suited to the rugged terrain of the Rocky Mountains. Canada's 424 and 413 Squadrons gave up their Buffalos in 1992 for SAR equipped CC-130 Hercules.
