BRDM-2 Amphibious
Command Vehicle

The IDF captured BRDM-2 amphibious scout cars from the Syrians and Egyptians during the Yom Kippur War (1973). The Israelis replaced the turret on some of the vehicles with a hatch and commissioned them for service as command and observation vehicles.
