Retired Col. Harold Weekley

1940s - Col. Weekley was shot down while flying his
B-17 Flying Fortress over Le Manoir, France, on Aug. 13, 1944. His entire crew survived, and he was the first Airman in the 398th Bombardment Group to escape enemy territory. Col. Weekley died on September 22, 2010.
