In December 2007, the Schwan Food Company announced the retirement of the Red Baron Pizza Squadron. According to Bill McCormack, Schwan's executive vice president:"The retail grocery industry has experienced considerable change over the past few years. And, as a result, we have decided to refocus our Red Baron marketing program and to discontinue the Red Baron Squadron." Forty-two pilots have been members of the Red Baron Pizza Squadron during its 28 year history.

The show offered several excellent aerobatics acts, including the Red Baron Pizza Squadron, the Aeroshell Aerobatic Team, Michael Goulian, and Patty Wagstaff. Sadly, we will not see the Red Baron's perform in the future because the Schwan Food Company has decided this great acrobatic team no longer fits in their marketing plan.
