Mara River
The Mara River is a river in the Mara Region of Kenya and Tanzania and lies across the migration path of wildebeest and zebras in the Maasai Mara/Serengeti game reserves. From its sources in the Kenyan highlands, the river flows for about 395 km, originating in the Mau Escarpment, and drains into Lake Victoria in Tanzania.
