Civil War Reenactment

Sutlers were merchants that followed troops during the Civil War. The merchants who set up during reenactments sell period-style goods to reenactors and the public. Unfortunately, they also sold cheap plastic cap rifles for the children. Somehow that took away from the otherwise accuracy of the merchandise.

A sutler's row of merchants selling Civil War period-style merchandise was located just south of the Confederate Camp. Most of the reenactors wore period correct, hand made clothing.
