Green Dragon is painted to replicate a B-25 in the service with the 5th USAAF, 38th BG, 405th BS, which operated in the Pacific from September 1942 through October 1944. It honors Major Ralph Cheli, who was awarded the Medal of Honor for action on August 18, 1943.

This B-25J-25-NC (S/N 44-30832) was delivered to the USAAF on March 2, 1945, too late to see combat. It was assigned stateside training duty and was designated a TB-25J. It's operated by Warbird Digest.
