Mecidiye Mosque
The Mecidiye Mosque is located on the European side of the Bosphorus just below the Bosphorus Bridge. This Baroque style mosque was built for Sultan Abdul Mecit and was completed in 1855. You can see three of its four turrets here, along with its two minarets.
