Link Trainer

Army Air Corps bought its first six Link trainers in 1934, to assist in training pilots to fly at night and in bad weather, relying only on instruments. The Link trainer provided valuable instrument training. Organ bellows and a motor provided pitch, roll, dive and climb based on the student's input.
